The RNG company was the initiator and general sponsor of the event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Yakut Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. In December, its management signed a cooperation agreement with the Trust Fund for Future Generations of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and allocated financial resources to pay prizes to the winners.

The principal stage of the competition was held in the spring, but it was decided to postpone the award ceremony to the fall due to the high workload of teachers and coincide it with World Teachers' Day. There were 305 people who applied for the participation. There were teachers, coaches, and mentors in secondary and general education with at least five years of experience among them, who have made a significant contribution to the education of the republic. The results of the contest were summed up in the middle of April. One hundred best specialists were awarded prizes of 100,000 rubles ($1,700.9) each. Diplomas to the winners were solemnly presented by the organizers of the competition and the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Irina Lyubimova.

“The competition elicited a great response from our teachers and showed how many talented and bright representatives of this profession work in our region. Such events are not only in demand among teachers, but also provide them an incentive for further development. We thank the RNG company for its help and hope for further partnership,” said Irina Lyubimova, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

“In our opinion, it is symbolic that the awarding of the winners of the competition for employees in the education sector is timed to coincide with the Teacher's Day. The harmonious and comprehensive development of the younger generation, which is called to determine the future of our country, depends on the talent and professionalism of teachers. RNG will continue making its contribution to the region education sphere,” said RNG’s CEO Vladimir Rakitin.

The company's specialists also plan to take part in the XIV congress of teachers and pedagogical community of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), which will be held in Yakutsk in the first decade of October.
