VTB President Andrey Kostin has removed the information that he might be linked to the Los hunting firm.

The Readovka Telegram channel reports that Los belonged to Andrey Kostin through an ownership chain. His company Muflon owns the Taels firm, which, in turn, was Los’s founder. Nikolai Ovsyannikov was registered as Los’s and Muflon’s CEO. According to Readovka, this information has now been removed from the official databases.

The Russian media repeatedly reported earlier that Andrey Kostin leases and owns more than 130,000 ha of hunting lands, 120,000 of which are located in the Pereslavl district of the Yaroslavl region. Part of the land belonging to him is located on the territory of the natural monument, which is a violation of the law.

A helipad was built not far from Kostin's lands near the natural monument named “Valley of the Kubr River with the reservoir.” The platform was constructed only 40 meters from the river bed though the legislation of the Yaroslavl region forbids building such objects near a natural monument within 250 meters. In 2018, the regional officials canceled the status of a specially protected natural territory from several land plots in the floodplain of the river Kubr “in connection with their irreversible loss of special nature protection value” for the convenience of Andrey Kostin and his guests.
