The United Kingdom imposed sanctions on several Russian citizens at once among which are Heroes of the Russian Federation Andrei Troshev and Andrei Bogatov. It is believed that they may be tied up with the Wagner Group.

Commenting on the situation Russian businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin ironically underlined that it would be “irreparable wrong” for Troshev and Bogatov and they will no longer be able to live as they lived before.

“Bogatov, who lost his hand fighting in the war against terrorists and saving the world from the “ISIS* plague”* (a side effect of which was that hundreds of British kids did not die like flies), will be saddened because he will not be able to write in English with his surviving hand,” the press service of Concord wrote, citing Prigozhin.

Troshev will also be saddened by what happened, said Prigozhin, as he has several orders for which he will not be able to purchase a special solution due to the sanctions imposed.

“To my thinking, Troshev will also grieve that he cannot buy polish for his two Orders of the Red Star that he received while serving in Afghanistan, as well as two Orders of Courage, other numerous awards and for his Star of the Hero of Russia,” he said.

Prigozhin did not comment on the other representatives of the sanctions list but he underlined that he treats the first two with deep respect.
