RNG will provide financial assistance to the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS) to carry out professional development programs for cultural workers in Yakutsk.
The plan is to implement two projects, ‘Self-improvement of actor's professional skills’ and ‘Culture Management,’ at once in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia.) Teachers of acting and production faculties of GITIS will give the professional development courses, and the audience will include actors and directors of the republican theaters and specialists from cultural institutions. The institute together with the Ministry of Culture of the region will form the lists of participants in the nearest future.
“Creative professionals, including theatrical stage employees, have only recently come to understanding that they also need professional self-improvement. GITIS has extensive experience in conducting professional development programs in the regions of Russia. I am sincerely grateful to RNG because it was its support that allowed this year, in the year of the centenary of the republic, to hold the first professional development courses for creative professionals in Yakutia,” said Grigory Zaslavsky, Rector of GITIS.
“GITIS is the leading theater school in our country. I believe that the implementation of joint projects and support of talented artists will contribute to the development of culture and creative potential in Yakutia,” said commented RNG’s CEO Vladimir Rakitin.
The company continuously supports cultural projects, including theatrical art. In 2021, RNG acted as a general partner of the tour of St. Petersburg Eifman Ballet.
