“The liberals in the corridors of power are destroying the real economy sector,” said Gennady Zyuganov, the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) and deputy of the State Duma.
Recently, the Russians have been asking the authorities more and more questions: the wave of discontent has started with the pension age rise.
At that time the pension reform caused an outpour of enraged public opinion. An increase of the VAT that followed resulted in price hikes -- the overall growth of tax burden only confirmed it and significantly lowered the government's popularity.
Recently, it has been reported that a new system of health inspection would be introduced for Russian drivers. Without getting into details, the innovations have led to the huge queues and skyrocketing costs of medical clearance.
Taking into account that the country has more than 52 mln registered vehicles, and 84 percent of those are passenger cars, it's safe to say that the increasing prices for medical services for drivers will affect the greater part of the population.
While opening the Moscow Central Diameter commuter railway service, President Vladimir Putin spoke harshly against the new rules of medical examination for drivers.
Incidentally, State Duma deputy and CPRF leader Gennady Zyuganov agreed with him, saying that the new rules of medical examination are a huge error. In addition, he cast doubt on the health of some of the bill promoters and criticized the government's financial and economic bloc.
“I consider the new rules of medical examination for drivers to be a mistake,” said Zyuganov. “So does the Prosecutor General's office. The Ministry of Health (Minzdrav) initiative has produced huge queues and pushed costs of medical clearance sky-high. I believe that first of all, the ministry should make examination of the workers of the financial and economic bloc a mandatory – it is you who need health check.
“The liberals in the corridors of power are destroying the real economy sector. Such things can be done either when you have an eclipse of reason or when your goal is to harm the Russian national interests,” Zyuganov tweeted on his page in social networks.
