“When it comes to the pandemic, I agree with Dr.Myasnikov on one thing -- it is an informational training session right now,” said political scientist Leonid Krutakov. “The pandemic is a real World War. It is very serious at least in terms of its consequences and results.”
Today, in Russia, as well as in other countries, numerous disputes on whether the novel coronavirus actually exists are underway, and whether it is really so dangerous, as reported by the WHO, or it is commonplace information warfare. In fact, political expert Leonid Krutakov calls the world pandemic “a World War.” This statement was made when he commented on a speech of Alexander Myasnikov, the head Russia's Coronavirus Information Center, who claimed that the current epidemic might be considered a rehearsal for even graver problems.
Alexander Myasnikov, a well-known Russian doctor and media personality, who currently is in charge of the Coronavirus Information Center, says that the situation around the virus is an ordinary “rehearsal,” and humanity should expect a real epidemic with the highest mortality rates. According to him, if the coronavirus has already killed 1% of the total number of infected people in Russia, a truly terrible epidemic might lead soon to up to 35% mortality. He called the mutation of tuberculosis or swine influenza an epidemic of the future.
Political scientist Leonid Krutakov also expressed his opinion on this issue. He claims that the situation around the COVID-2019 pandemic is a substitute for the World War.
“When it comes to the pandemic, I agree with Dr.Myasnikov on one thing -- it is an informational training session,” said Krutakov. “The pandemic is a real World War. It is very serious at least in terms of its consequences and results. Previously, all problems had been solved with the help of world wars. Chances are this instrument will be used again. Given the progress of genetic and biological developments, I believe this is highly likely.”
