The Russian media have published details of large-scale coronavirus testing in Moscow, announced the day before by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. As reported by the Moscow 24 TV Channel, many people will get an opportunity to exclude themselves from the list of people potentially infected with COVID-19 after passing the free test. Participants will be randomly selected – they will receive a message to take part in it by email or SMS.

“Speaking of massive testing of Muscovites for the novel coronavirus, from today on, thousands of tests are being carried out in the city,” Moskva 24 said. “The residents will be selected randomly. The invitations will be sent by email or SMS.

“There will be a link to online registration. If you do not want to get tested for some reason, you can refuse. There will be no penalty for this. Blood collection for testing is carried out in 30 healthcare centers.

Each center has two procedure rooms. The data will be published on mos.ru. On this basis, the decision on changing the restrictive measures in the city will be made.”
