With the help of artificial intelligence, experts of Russia’s largest lending institution, Sberbank, have calculated the peak of the novel coronavirus infection in Russia.
It is noted that AI took account of a huge number of factors and analyzed the situation through the prism of several basic scenarios.
These estimates have shown that the pandemic in Russia is highly likely to pass its peak in the first decade of May. According to Sberbank, this scenario may happen in the central part of Russia while Moscow should expect its peak a few days earlier.
As specified by Sberbank, its experts have built a model based on several basic scenarios. However, given the current situation in Russia, the peak may be expected in the first decade of May.
“For this reason, we should keep maintaining the lockdown, doing as much as possible to protect our parents and grandparents,” says RIA Novosti, citing Alexander Vedyakhin, Sberkbank first deputy chairman of the board of governors.
